Home sick..

Friday night, I felt a sore throat coming on but, thought it was just dry from work. Even though I drink a lot of water. I drank some juice and went to bed. I woke up yesterday with a sore throat and thought ok..I will take something and go on to work as usual. I was in at 5am and by 8:30 I had my boss Scott, sign my timesheet and left. I came home and slept on the couch for a couple of hours. I have a nice full blown head cold now. I will get something to eat shortly and take more sinus meds. I don't like to take stuff without something in my stomach.

My friend Ghost has a very nice pattern for an angel pouch which I am having a problem with. It is NOT her pattern. I have always had a problem crocheting in just sc. I do not know why. I was also having a problem keeping count of my rows. I think the main issue is that I am not focusing on what I have to do because I don't feel well. I think I will try it again at another time. It is the cutest pouch and the pattern is easy enough. :o)

The one thing I do want to get done today is..if nothing else..I want to call the QA manager, Tom, and ask him what I have to do to get down to final inspection. I have been talking to my boss Scott for a couple of weeks now and he is doing nothing. (That is nothing new) Now that I am full time..I want to know what my options are. I don't like going over peoples heads but, if you are not going to do anything, you leave me no choice.

I don't think a whole lot is going to get done today. I may try to see how I make out with Sandie's new crochet square. If I have a problem with that, I'll just go ahead and make a Granny. There is not much thought that goes into making one of those.
