This shawl is from Sandie's pattern she was working on. It's not quite finshed yet. I still have to put a border on it. I started last night but did not get too far. Sandie gave me a suggestion on what she did as far as a border goes so, we'll see what happens with that. It does need to be wider though. Right now it measures 13" x 72 1/2". 15" wide or more seems to be good. The hearts did end up going in the right direction. The pattern is so easy. I was hoping the hearts would show in the pic and they do. I'll post another pic when I get the border done. Hopefully today.
I'm not sure if you are going to play with the pattern. Maybe adding on an inch to either side making it wider. That's the only thing that I can see. Everything else is perfect!
Thank you for letting me try your pattern. The shawl already has a home. :o) A woman in another one of my groups is going to send some shawls to the miner's families that were either hurt or killed in that tragedy.
Until next time...

I love working with Sandie's patterns they are always so pretty and work up so nicely. I love the color choice here and it really is very pretty done. I know the border will be great also.
It's beautiful and I also love that yarn color! Do I remember correctly that it is Vanna's Choice? Which color? The pattern is sized for chunky yarn, which is why it came out not as wide. You could use a larger fch for a wider shawl with worsted yarn, just leave more dcs on the sides. Thanks for helping me test it.
