This is what I am working on now. I am using Vanna's Choice yarn in Purple Print. I am also using an N hook. So far I am on my 3rd skein. It will take 5 easy. I may need another one for the border but not sure. So far it measures 42" wide by 23" long. The recommended length is 36". Not sure how wide it will make it but will find out when it's done. This shawl does not have a home yet but, I'm sure it will by the time it's done. It has been happening that way. :o) The pattern I am using for the shawl is a Half Granny Square.
I am back to work tomorrow. So I decided to cook up tomorrows dinner for the gang today and split it up into plastics. This way, whenever they get home, all they have to do is to heat it up. I also baked a Mrs Smiths Apple pie. It smells so good in here. Rachel has to be in work at 11am tomorrow and won't have time do to anything. They only have to fend for themselves for 3 days now. Sundays we usually order out somewhere. Pizza, chinese or something.
I talked to Debbie today and her Mom is doing ok considering. They have her on pain meds which she takes one every 6 hrs. She went for her MRI on Monday and next week they will get the results from that. Hopefully it is contained to one area and they can treat the cancer with radiation. If it spread the drs will have to go with chemo. Debbie will be back to work tomorrow which, will be good for her.

The shawl is coming nicely. And prayers are being said for Debbie's mom.
Beautiful shawl. Still working on mine. Please keep us posted on Debbie's mom. So many in need. Thankfully, God puts no limit on our prayers!
