A hat to go with the mittens.

The pic really doesn't show the pattern like I had thought it would. Maybe because it is not a solid color.
Pattern used: Pythagorean Hat pattern. If you click on the link, the pattern on the hat there will show up a lot better. Hat is knit in the round which means no seaming. :o)
I will def make this hat again. Very easy and quick knit.
Knitting needles used: Boye size 8 (5mm) -16" circ and Hiya Hiya size 9 (5.5mm) DPNs (double pointed needles)
Yarn used: Cascade 220 #9437. After much searching, the color name is Malta. Wish the label said that. *Sigh*

This hat will accompany the mittens to Ohio for Sandy for the Bridge Project.

Hope your week is going well. It looks like I will be working Saturday which means, my one day off this week is non-existent. The overtime money will be nice though. Good thing next week is my 3 day weekend so I only have to work until Thursday.

That's it for now.

Until next time...
Bunny

I love the color! I'm going to look at the pattern, and put it in my "stash" of patterns. I'm crocheting squares for a project Sandy found, and I'm crocheting squares for a few other bloggers. The knitting needles are calling me back, though. Don't work too hard this weekend.

It goes really well with the mittens. Great job again Bunny.

Beautiful! Love the color, but understand what you mean about stitch patterns sometimes not showing up as well when done on something other then solid colors.

Yeah for the Bridge, reaping the rewards of your loving labors once again.

And, I'm still using some of the yarn you donated for good causes.

Hugs
Sandy
