WIP Wednesday

I was not going to post about this because it is not part of YoP but thought, it is a WIP so, here it is.

I am working on yet another Mountain Man Hat. These work up fairly quickly. This one is taking longer because work is getting in the way.
Yarn used: Plymouth Encore color #599 (Deep Brown)
Needle: size 9

This hat is going to go to Bridge and Beyond.  This month is focused on men's hats. Although, if you have made squares or washcloths or ladies hats those would be excepted also.

I hope your week is going well.

Until next time...

Gratz on doing a charity knit, there can never be enough hats to handed out!

We have a charity drive at school once a year, to collect knitted and crochet squares. So I get busy around April making these out of all the odd balls I have left from projects the previous year. This year I made 30, if I remember correctly.

I wish we had more charity projects here. I find that there are alot of projects for South Africa but they want the stuff sent overseas and then they will send it back?

How do you like the Encore yarn? I've not used it but it seems to crop up in convos often. Saw the completed hat - looks great

I love the Plymouth yarns Sandie. It is soft, thick & squishy. I tend to use either an 8 or 9 needle depending on what I am making.
