First things first...

Here is the finished shawl. Border and everything. It did not add as much width as I would have hoped for but it's fine. I used a sc on the ends and dc on the long sides. Then I used a sideway shell (sc, ch2, 2dc) sk2, all the way around. Next time I make it, I will make a longer chain to start with.

My Crochet Cabana 10 year Commemorative hook arrived a little while ago. It looks really wonderful. Cherie did a great job on it! I can't wait to use it. The one thing I did notice is that it is very light weight and very smooth. I don't think I will have a problem with it snagging yarn like some wooden hooks will. I did order the I hook because that is what I like to use the most. Even though the directions on the yarn package will suggest using an H, I like working with the I.

Ok...I need to weave in my ends on the shawl and get it ready to send out tomorrow. :o). Gotta love weaving in the ends. LOL Not! :o) Part of the job though.

Until next time...
