Strange turn of events

Doug and I did go out to breakfast yesterday and went to Friendly's instead of Denny's. Why? Well, we were going to go to Kohl's to pick out some things for our vacation to Aruba in Dec. but, before we could do that, we ended up going to the medical center.
This all started on Wednesday and by Saturday my cheeks were so red and I felt like I was getting the flu because of the aches. I do indeed have a viral infection. Where? How? Is any one's guess. My left eye is swollen a little. So the dr, who was very nice, and did seem to know what he was talking about, told me to take Tylenol, Claritin during the day and Benydryl at night for the itch and cortisone cream. He also said I contagious and to stay away from small kids and pregnant woman. I am not around them anyway. Not a problem. I will bring the green paper I got from there in case anyone asks what's wrong. I may show Steve anyway, just so he knows. I did not sleep very well last night but, the good thing is I only have to put in 8 hrs. The thing is, I do not feel sick. If the swelling wasn't there, I wouldn't know anything was wrong.
Doug and I did go to Kohl's after the clinic and he got a couple pair of jeans and a nice jacket. Everything was on sale and we made out very good. I also saw a couple of hamburger turners that I liked. I couldn't make up my mind so we got both. lol We also looked at luggage but, I was not in the mood to be there any more, so we paid for our stuff, went to the store and got the meds I needed. I have Sundays off, so when I feel better I will run out and get some things.
Well..I guess that's it for now.
