Finally finished

Seeing as we were going to be a little slow in work yesterday, Tuesday I decided to take yesterday as a floating holiday. A lot of cardboard needed to be cut down and had to get all of the garbage together. Tuesday when I got home, Doug told me that the counter top was ready. I called them back right away and the person I talked to said that they would be able to install it tomorrow (meaning Wednesday). She gave me a time between 12 and 3pm. Wow! I had taken Wednesday off but, did not know at the time really why. Doug also took yesterday off because he wanted to be here when the guys came to keep an eye on things and if he had any questions. On Wednesday I had to go to BJ's to pick up some things and ended up calling Doug about dessert. He said that the guys called about 10:45 and said they would be there in about 15 mins. What happened to 12-3?? They got everything installed and were gone by 11:30. About 30 mins to do everything.
I truly love it. I not only got my single sink (I hated the other one), but it now gives me more counter space. Not much but, hey, when you don't have a lot to begin with, every little bit helps. We had to wait 24 hours for the glue to dry and as of this afternoon we now have water in the kitchen sink. YEAH! You actually don't know how much you miss it until you don't have it. Using the tub and bathroom sink for water was certainly a pain. Now we can get back to some sort of normalcy. We can certainly use it.

Next....the bathroom....not for a long while though. Let's get one project paid off before tackling another one. lol Rest Hon...Rest!

Until next time...
Bunny
